The premium crossover Infiniti QX60 with a hybrid drive and the "Hybrid" prefix celebrated its premiere at the end of March 2013 at a car show in New York. The car is also available on the Russian market, where it is sold together with its "purely petrol counterpart".

In 2016, at the January motor show in Detroit, the Japanese presented a restyled version of the five-door, which received a noticeably "refreshed" appearance and minimal changes in technology - new springs and shock absorbers, as well as a "shorter" steering mechanism.

In terms of appearance, the Infiniti QX60 Hybrid does not differ from a gasoline-powered crossover. The "Japanese" looks original and solid, and its body is crowned with interesting design solutions that give out belonging to the premium brand Infiniti.

The most noticeable elements of the hybrid model's exterior are the chrome-plated family radiator grille, stylish head optics, an eccentric curvature of the C-pillar and a massive stern with compact lights.

The body of the hybrid has the same dimensions as the "regular" Infiniti QX60, and the wheelbase is similar, but the ground clearance is more modest - only 178 mm. The curb weight of the vehicle is 2105 kg, and the gross weight is 2602 kg.

The interior of the QX60 Hybrid follows the same styling as the interior of the petrol-powered QX60. The dashboard features a high level of functionality and vibrant colors.

The center console is modern and ergonomic, it has a place for the color screen of the multimedia information complex, climate control and audio system, as well as other functions.

In the interior of the hybrid premium crossover, you can find only high-quality finishing materials, in particular soft plastic, good-quality leather, natural wood and aluminum.

Like its petrol counterpart, the Infiniti QX60 Hybrid has a seven-seat cabin layout. The front seats are endowed with a mass of electrical adjustments and a comfortable profile, the middle sofa is shaped for three people, each of whom will be located with maximum comfort. And the third row of seats is not a miss - there is enough space, access is through a wide doorway.

At the disposal of the QX60 hybrid is a well-organized luggage compartment, the volume of which varies from 175 to 787 liters (if a Bose audio system with a subwoofer is installed, then from 165 to 777 liters).

Specifications. The Infiniti QX60 Hybrid does not have the most sophisticated hybrid setup. The main role is assigned to the 2.5-liter in-line compressor gasoline "four", generating 231 horsepower. A modest electric motor with a capacity of 19 "horses" and several "finger" batteries, placed under the trunk floor, are offered in a pair. The total output of the hybrid is 250 forces and 330 Nm of maximum thrust (at 3600 rpm).
The Xtronic continuously variable variator with seven virtual gears is responsible for supplying torque to the drive wheels. In addition, the car is equipped with a simple All-mode 4WD all-wheel drive system (under normal conditions, the QX60 Hybrid is front-wheel drive, the rear wheels start spinning after the front wheels slip). For the rest of the technical characteristics, the hybrid crossover is similar to the regular QX60.

Now a few words about the dynamics and fuel consumption indicators. To conquer the first hundred, the "Japanese" spends 8.6 seconds, and its maximum capabilities - 190 km / h. In the combined driving cycle, an average of 8.5 liters of gasoline is consumed for every 100 km of run.

Options and prices. The updated Infiniti QX60 2016-2017 in the Hybrid modification is offered in the same equipment options as its petrol counterpart, and has a similar equipment list.
The initial version of Elegance is estimated at a minimum of 3,531,700 rubles, for the next in the hierarchy Premium configuration they ask from 3,873,130 rubles, and more advanced versions of Elite and Hi-Tech will cost customers from 4,113,800 and 4,158,000 rubles, respectively.
